Each type of coffee has a unique and its own market.
Luwak Coffee Luwak coffee is coffee with the world's highest selling price. The process of formation and a very unique taste became the main reason for the high price of this type of coffee. Basically, this coffee is arabica coffee types. The coffee beans are then eaten by a mongoose or ferret, namely Luwak in Indonesia language. However, not all parts of the coffee beans can be digested by the animal. The inside of this seed would then come out with feces. Because it has survived longer in the digestive tract of mongoose, coffee beans have undergone a short fermentation by natural bacteria in the stomach that provide additional unique taste. In the Mekarsari Fruit Garden, we collect two types of arabica and robusta coffee that we grow in the area of block D, Daun VI. The process of planting plays a role in creating a good coffee flavor. In the industrial world, coffee will undergo a series of long processing from coffee beans to coffee that ready to be enjoyed. Various treatment methods of coffee beans have been tried to produce the best coffee, such as harvesting and separation processes shell, roasting, boiling, and also do for some of coffee decaffeination process (the process to reduce the caffeine content that high enough so that the bitter coffee taste can be reduced). Strata coffee industry in the country is very diverse, ranging from large-scale home industry business units to multinational coffee industry. The products are produced not only to meet the needs of the domestic coffee consumption, but also to fill the overseas markets. It shows that coffee consumption in the country is an attractive market for business people who are still giving prospects and opportunities as well as showing the condusive conditions to investing in coffee industry. |
